Thanks for stopping by! I live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, three children and fur baby dog. This blog was a much-needed outlet during the five months (Oct. – April 2016) when I split my time between my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, and Atlanta in order to take care of my mom. I am so blessed to have been able to spend a lot of time with her during those months.
The silver lining was getting to spend time with my family and friends in the Midwest. I grew up in the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha, thus the Dundee Girl.
Initially, this blog helped me explore my role as a caregiver, the challenges of working virtually, and seeing and exploring my hometown with fresh eyes. It is probably rambling a bit now as I have a lot of interests that lean toward travel, food, family, and health. I’m still having fun with it so, I hope you stop by often and join in the conversation.
