I went to see Menopause The Musical with one of my girlfriend’s this weekend. Her husband wouldn’t go with her. In fact, no surprise, but there were very few men in the Sunday matinee audience.
They, the men, actually would have enjoyed it too. It was a musical, obviously, but they changed the words to well-known catchy tunes so everybody was singing a long. And all of us could find one of the characters – the business woman, the Iowa Mom, the hippie chick or the movie star, relate-able.
They brought humor to a tough, somewhat taboo, topic. And no spoiler alert here but I loved the ending! Fun girls outing if it hits a city near you.
