Frickin’ frackin’ work laptop just won’t boot up. Not one spark of life or electrical connection in sight. IT support is all the way back in Atlanta. So, I googled a fix (from my Surface). And you are not going to believe this actually worked. It was a Hail Mary pass for sure.
- Unplug the electrical cord
- Remove the battery (not as hard as it sounds)
- Push the power button 10 times in a row at one second intervals (this is the step that made me think I might be on candid camera)
- Put the battery back in
- Plug the electrical cord back in
- Push the power button
