At my Mom’s house, the flag goes out first thing every morning. I was so surprised and happy this morning when I went out to put it up – there were flags out on every house, all the way down the street. It was not a coordinated event, it’s just that kind of neighborhood. On this day especially, we thank all of our current and past servicemen and women. I hope they know how much we appreciate them!
